March 2004 Update

Dear Family and Friends:

Blessings and peace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you and your loved ones in Jesus name.

We hope that you are praying and planning to go with us this summer to Nigeria. If you are planning to join our team, please send your ticket money before the end of March or call us at: 210-647-5871 to discuss the trip with John. Who should go with the team? Anyone who has received Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior and has the burden to teach and preach the Word of God to the lost. If you are a student in high school or college, home maker, pastor, missionary, professional, business person, driver, home builder, or what ever skill God has blessed you with, could be put to good use in Africa this summer. God could use you to make a big difference in Africa. You are needed now! Come join us to bless God's kingdom in Nigeria.

What our team will do in Nigeria this summer:

1. We will hold crusades in different cities in Nigeria.
2. We will teach and preach in churches and villages in Nigeria.
3. We will participate in tribal, family, and gender reconciliation acts.
4. We will work and minister to prisoners (inmates).
5. We will work and minister to lepers in a leper colony.
6. We will minister to children with AIDS.
7. We will visit and minister to children in an orphanage center.
8. We will organize leadership training for pastors, church workers, and others.
9. We will plan to provide free medical care for the poor and needy in Nigeria.
10. We plan to take a prayer journey to break satanic strongholds.

Next, pray for Christians and Muslims in Nigeria to learn how to live together in harmony. Also, pray for Dr. John A. Yusufu and his family (Provost at Nigeria's Federal College of Education in the northern city of Yola) whose house was burned by Muslim students at the college recently. A report from Nigeria claimed that an attempt made by Muslim students to kill him failed, and the students directed their anger at Christian students and staff, injuring many. Several victims were hospitalized at the local hospital. Mrs. Grace Yakubu, a Christian staff member remarked, "We no longer have the confidence to carry on with teaching and learning activities here."

Finally, Pray for us and those who will travel with us, and consider helping us financially for the summer trip. May God richly bless you. We love you!

John and Justina
